Just wondering the process and what goes in to getting these items. I mean, would the Souleater come right from the Customize, or would it be something that Ilia then Appraises? Once you discover a character’s favorite food, it will be permanently displayed in his/her. If you use the same food item to other characters, they’ll recover the normal amount of HP or MP. When a character consumes his/her favorite food, his/her HP and MP will be fully restored.
#STAR OCEAN FIRST DEPARTURE R CUSTOMIZATION GUIDE HOW TO#
Is there any particular trick to this? I mean, I do have a Save from outside the Treasury before entering if there are things I could do or items I could bring to help here, but I'm wondering if it really just is "Load save, try to Customize with Roddick, reload when it's not Souleater" endlessly until I get it, then Save and repeat with next character. Each character has their own favorite food. A complete guide on how to recruit every character in Star Ocean First Departure and FIrst Departure R.Trying out a new style let me know what you think.TIME. Occasionally, I've gotten !WEAPON and then save in a separate slot, then use Ilia to Appraise, but it's always the same item upon reloads with her (ie each reload she always appraises the same resulting weapon, like Dull Blade for example). I choose Proceed and mostly get low-tier Swords, so I reload and try again. I made it to the Save Point in the Treasury and have been trying to create these things, but it appears it's random? I load my Save, go to Skills > Item Creation, choose Roddick and Customization, then Luxurious Sword and Rainbow Diamond. That should allow me to create ("customize") a Souleater for Roddick (with Rainbow Rock), a Blade of Doom for Cyruss (with Mithrill), and then the Scepter of the Bunny (with Mithrill) and Rod of the Feather (with Orichcalcum) for Millie.

I went into the Treasury with Mithrill x2, Rainbow Diamond x1, and Orichcalcum x1. You can search "Castle Treasury" at the above link to see what I mean.Īnyway, I got Customization to Level 10 with Roddick, Cyruss, and Millie. Skills needed: Effort, Determination, Resilience (Train) and Herbology, Resilience (Survival) What it does: Lowers your stats in battle to give you more skill points you gain per level up. I am currently at the Castle Treasury, where the guide mentions that I should go in there with some materials to customize the weapons I pick up so that I get to keep them. Description: 'A super specialty where everyone makes a few sacrifices to earn more skill points per level.' Specialties needed: Train and Survival. I've been playing through First Departure R on my Switch, mostly following with this guide.
